Welcome to Bankend Holiday Cottage website.

The cottage is a beautiful original 17th century farm house situated in the northern Lake District valley of Ennerdale providing high quality accommodation for up to four people.

It is no longer a working farm, but has an organic vegetable and fruit garden. A variety of produce is available to our guests when in season.

Bankend has an idyllic, peaceful location, with superb surrounding countryside and views of the high fells around Ennerdale Lake.

The cottage is a peaceful retreat where you can simply relax and enjoy your surroundings. Alternately, it's the perfect centre for activity holidays including fellwalking, mountain biking, rock climbing and canoeing.

Rentals are available for both long and short breaks throughout the year.
